My experience at Sushi Sase was extremely disappointing. The menu is extremely overpriced ($1980 for the omekase menu) and the food quality was not good. The sushi rice was poor and the sashimi quality was not particularly fresh or delicate, the soup served was not even hot, and the cooked fish dish was overcooked, so the meat was dry. The service was very unauthentic (the staff were chatting to each other loudly and not very attentive) and not the service you would expect from an upmarket Japan

The service was very unauthentic (the staff were chatting to each other loudly and not very attentive) and not the service you would expect from an upmarket Japanese restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for real Japanese food and can't imagine it would be around for long. It is safe to say I will not be returning, ever. Not happy, I would give less stars, sadly I can't go below one star. This is my first time writing a review because I don't want anyone to have the same experience we did.
