We went to Crit Room with a group of six on a Friday night. The eatery décor is chic and modern, designed by a well-known architect in town. Food-wise, each dish is a work of art - both gastronomically delightful and aesthetically pleasing. Selection of wine is fabulous with bottles pair to different dishes to bring the best flavor. We start off with sea bass tartar, seared scallop and tuna on avocado and cucumber as appetizer. The chef paints his plates with cherry tomatoes and a garden’s worth of leaves, and the cheerful palette has already put you in a good mood before you take the first bite.
For the mains, we have truffle taglierini with mushrooms in truffle sauce, as well as T-bone steak with roasted potatoes and torched tomatoes . The flavors are vibrant with every dish has some juiciness or herbal freshness, and nothing is especially fatty.
The dessert is particularly worth mentioning . It’s chocolate innovation with chocolate dome filled with salted caramel, green apple and yuzu
combination. Served with a hot chocolate cream sauce - this is the dream of chocolate lovers!
Last but not least, we are particularly fond of the super attentive staff and stylish tableware (apparently these are imported from French royal court). We can't wait to visit Crit Room again.
