Just had dinner at this restaurant as I wanted to go shopping in the nearby mall. I think this is by far the most decent place to have western style cuisine around this place. Just had dinner at this restaurant as I wanted to go shopping in the nearby mall. I think this is by far the most decent place to have western style cuisine around this place. Setting is comfortable with reasonable amount of privacy. We ordered 2 set dinners plus a side order of mussels. The set dinner came with soup - the usual 羅宋湯 with nothing special. The garlic bread was in the form of a "cube" which was somewhat interesting to look at, but unfortunately was neither hot nor cripsy and so was not too pleasing for consumption. The mussels were ok but somewaht overdone in our opinion. I ordered the NZ steak as main dish which was nice - substantial portion, tender meat and not overdone
. My wife ordered the beef ribs in red wine sauce with rice which was also alright. One added bonus for the place is that they hire a guitar player who also sings oldies (quite a good singer really !). So, although the food is not too special, the price is reasonable and provided you do not have too high expectations, I think this place is ok for the casual dinner.
