Our circle of friends are ramen lovers and we all put the newly opened Mashi No Mashi on our bucket list.

Finally I went with hubby on a rainy Friday unfortunately this experience was falling short. Not much of a line up and you would need to order through the vending machine. Staff was helpful to explain and recommend and helped out the malfunction credit card payment.

We ordered the special wagyu tsukemen, beef donburi and 6pc gyoza.

Seated at the bar table, full view on how the kitchen prepared the dishes. Very clean in terms of hygiene.

Tsukemen - Average. Taste of broth is a very subjective and personal thing I would therefore not comment. It was not rich type but also not savory. Wagyu was average and so were the rest of the ingredients. The problem I found was the dish itself doesn’t give you the unity and the spark of joy a bowl of tsukemen should give. It felt like of a set of ingredients cooked correctly and placed in the bowl.

Gyoza - averaged out to be $20 per pc. Again the way it cooked was right but whether it worth the money...

One other thing which was extremely bothering was a lady photographer of some sort kept taking photos constantly behind and in the kitchen. Although her gesture was polite, it was a bit bothering and would have been better if restaurant informed us prior seated. It was also the reason I gave service a 2-star instead of 4.

In summary for this range of spending there are options and oh the portions are not big so consider level up to bigger portions.
