To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 前幾日同屋企人一齊食牛角,好耐已經冇食,牛嘅品質一直都在線高quality!!!嗰日叫咗個4人餐,完全夠食,4個人都滿載而歸😜最令我驚喜係燒鱈魚片,輕輕烘佢一陣就脆卜卜,好似食緊薯片咁😋首先最好食個人認為係牛舌,加小小檸檬汁,完全唔硬,食到最尾想額外再加多一碟👍🏻👍🏻嚟到牛角點可以唔食牛角飯,係牛角飯再加一塊牛肉,然後再喺上面加少少牛角鹽醬,係超級超級好食😭。聽講牛角鹽醬係為香港人口味特調而成,出面係冇得買㗎🥺但記得加少少好啦,太多真係會好鹹🤭好特別值得一提係雜菜盤上,粟米出乎意料地甜!!!!yum yum🤭🤭🤭所有肉油脂分佈全部都好靚,完全食唔停口!!!又想再食啦😩最後因為想食甜品,額外單叫咗個雪糕銅鑼燒,叫職員換咗個烤架,喺上面烘一烘,雪糕溶擁地嘅情況就可以食得!呢個係第一次係牛角試,雪糕可以揀雲呢拿味或者抹茶,今次就揀咗抹茶味,全家都覺得好好食😝👍🏻
