Preparing to head back home, I walked past 振興肉丸 and knowing that they are famous for the meatball for over 50 years, I decided to buy some of their balls. Even though they catered for take-away, the shop was spacious and offered a wide range of meatball such as fish, beef, pork, prawn, squid and others etc.
For take-away, they provided cooler bag so that their meatball can maintain the coldness and freshness before we reached home. It was designed nicely as well.
Xiao Long Bao fish ball (spicy flavour) - Xiao long bao was special in a way that the skin was of fish meat, thus it was soft and smooth, with pork filling inside mixed with chilli pepper powder, thus it was juicy and chewy, slightly spicy as well.
Thai style fish ball - The filling inside was of tom yum gong flavour, thus it was very flavourful and slightly spicy and sour, surprisingly complimenting nicely with the fish ball, which was chewy and smooth.
