This is one of my favourite things to order here. It features sautéed portobello mushrooms in mozzarella,  truffle cream sauce, poached egg and rocket, served on their signature (and amazing) sourdough bread. I love a good loaf of sourdough and the ones at Baked are all freshly handmade, has the perfect crust and just the right amount of chew. The portion of mushrooms, rocket and sauce were incredibly generous and really yummy! Highly recommend 💯

Love the flexibility of Baked to switch between sourdough and brioche for the dishes! Although the brioche looks amazing, sourdough toast is an amazing option for this dish too. The scrambled eggs are cooked with gruyere, herbs and a bit of chilli, served with garlic aioli and spinach. Again, a very generous serving size and really tasty too. 

Overall, this is one of my favourite restaurants around town and definitely a top pick for brunch. I was really excited to see that the founder opened up Baked for dinner service, and is working on a new restaurant concept. You can definitely tell that he has a passion for food and it really reflects in the dishes so I can't wait to try more of what the Baked group has to offer! 😍
