I always wanted to try Jacomax when I was working in Quarry Bay. It was such a shame that I never had the chance. There's an open kitchen for pizzas in the restaurant. You can see clearly how your pizzas are made, just like those you would find in Italy.
My friend is a great fan of cocktails and so she ordered a Mojito to start with. As we were so hungry, we ordered 1 snack, 1 pizza and 1 pasta in total.
The mojito didn't have a strong taste of rum, but quite a heavy taste of mint and lime.
There were 2 sizes of pizzas which we could choose from, either 12-inch or 20-inch. Of course we chose a 12-inch or else we wouldn't have been able to try any other food.T-Rex was made of tomatoes, ham, sausages and spicy salami. It was crispy despite the fact that it wasnt put in the oven for that long. The mixture of ham, sausages and spicy salami was also a perfect match and gave a nice spicy taste.
As carbonara is one of the signature dishes in this restaurant, we wanted to give it a try. The pasta was so creamy and I liked the fact that lettuce was put on the top as a garnish. However, it would have been even better if there was more bacon in the dish.
These chicken wings were perfectly done and came out golden brown. There was also a strong taste of pepper and we just couldn't stop eating them.
