Saya is put labelled by Michelin as Bib Gourmand so I had some expectations. There were some stand out dishes but some fell flat. However, we were put off by their service. We were arranged to sit at this corner, which was comfortable. You can see the there is a button for us to tap on when we need service. However, it does not work. No server actively walked to our area to see if we needed orders and each time we needed to go out to the counter for their help.My friends wanted to order cocktails

My friends wanted to order cocktails but upon ordering only Pina Colada and Lichilini was available (2 out of 6). We were still ok with this but as a server, you should have noted to inform what other items are not available and start to inform us when we ordered the food.

For the food,  for the starters, we decided to simply order Starter Platter but then they said it was not available....again.  As one of our friends is a pescatarian, we wanted to Pla Phao (Fish) but again it was not available. By now, if the server realize, that everything we wanted to order was greeted with "not available", I guess a simple explanation eg. "We are sorry these items ran out as it was very popular" would have been a nice way to explain the situation, or even recommend some dishes. However, we were only greeted with "What else do you want to order?".  Finally we ordered things that are available.

Pla-Heang Taeng Moo was a bit of a miss to stun as a starter.

However, the lackluster starter and questionable service was pretty much redeemed by all the mains, which were enough to pull this review to OK. The chicken of the Khao Soy was tender and it was great to try the noodles in 2 different methods of preparation. I definitely preferred the crispy version.

The Crab Curry was definitely my favorite. The flavors were rich without being too spicy and the soft shelled crab remained crispy despite being in the curry.

Kai Jiaw had plenty of crab inside the omelette(pretty much filling most the space). The tarty spice sauce made the dish even more appetizing.

The panna cotta was closer to caramel flavor than thai milk tea flavor.

The Rose shaped mango with sticky rice was a pretty conclusion to the meal. Hope their service improves to match their food.
Other Info. : Price per person only included the food
