I have been to the Pancake Colours in CWB a few times and was craving it again so thought I would bring my mom to go try it out. There was no wait at 8:30pm so that was good. When we first sat down the first thing I noticed was how loud the restaurant was. It did not help that there was a group of about 20 high school kids having a celebration of sorts down the middle of the restaurant. We ordered the BBQ Rib set dinner that was $168 which included a soup and drink (+5 or more for specialty drink).

Soup was good, it was a cream soup of sorts but had a hint of tomato base in it.
It was ok at best, my mom pointed out that it taste more like BBQ pork than it did BBQ ribs from a authentic western restaurant. This is understandable since it seemed more like a pasta and dessert joint. However the portion size was big, good thing my mom ordered first and we ended up splitting the entree.
One warning is that when it is busy (which it was when we went) you will have to wait for your food. There are not enough workers there but the Manager on Duty was polite and understood the impatience.
We did not order the dessert which featured Crepes and Pancakes due to the wait time. I really wanted to try the red bean and green tea one.
It seems like this place is more of a place for young people to hang out, there is a Games Cupboard full of games for people to play while eating which seems to be the gimmick to this restaurant.
I will definitely go back but just for the dessert, probably not for any entrees.
Total bill was $168+5 for the drink +%10 service charge totalling $190
