1011 Teabar is the cafe version of the bubble tea shop 1011 Siptea that did a Snoopy pop-up in Fashion Walk last year. Now they have collaborated with Miffy.
They have various Miffy products.
And Miffy cakes.
The interior has Miffy decor along with more access to their products.
Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. Along with tea, they also offer cake and soon to come sandwiches along with coffee and mocktails.
For those who want to order a drink that comes with a Miffy bottle, you only get five choices. Sugar and ice content is not allowed to be changed. Those who don't want the bottle, not to worry. The paper cups are all decorated with Miffy.
For those interested in the cake, they offer a cake set that costs $398 and $328 depending on the cake you choose. It includes a placemat, glass mug and figure. The other choice is just the cake and that costs you $128! However, they also have a limited time promotion where if you order any drink, the cake is only $50. I decided to do that.
Upon paying, they gifted me with a face mask with their logo all over it. A bit disappointed it didnt have Miffy on it.
I ordered a Mango and Passionfruit Smoothie ($48) and thus, the cake was now discounted to $50 instead of a whopping $128! The Taiwanese castella cake wasn't available when I was there but that was ok. I wanted the cake that looked like Miffy.
The drink was a lot of cream. There was a bit of mango and passsionfruit pulp but not a lot as it tasted mostly of cream. At least the bottle is sturdy enough to keep.
The cake was an apple cheesecake. It looked cute as Miffy usually is.
There was a cookie crust on the bottom with a small amount of apple filling. The filling was sweet and just tasted like sweetened apples. I guess I was expecting it to be more like apple pie with all the spices. I guessed wrong. The cheese cake itself was ok. Soft and creamy. The cake was ok but I don't understand why it originally cost $128.
The drink was not that great but that is probably due to the fact I chose something wrong. I did have a decent drink from them when they did the Snoopy pop-up but for that one I could fill any drink to get the bottle. But as I wanted the bottle, I was stuck with only choices I wasn't too happy with. The cake was ok for $50 but it definitely isn't worth the original $128. I most likely won't order it again. And for that reason, this is not value for money.
