I visited this Vietnamese restaurant few months back for their pork chop vermicelli and i was hugely impressed by it. As i happened to pass by Kennedy Town and have sudden craving for Vietnamese food, i immediately think of Miss Saigon. It was located just beside the exit of Kennedy Town MTR and the restaurant was quite spacious. Their lunch set is available daily from 12pm to 330pm and is mainly on noodles. Fish cake - It comes in 3 tiny pieces and it was made using real fish meat in it. It was soft, but not juicy enough.
Miss Saigon signature house pho - This was their signature pho as it comes with a bit of everything. It consists of raw beef, beef brisket, beef ball, beef tripes and beef tendon. The portion was quite huge but i was quite surprised that there were no bean sprouts as this was quite common in Vietnam. Pho was cooked till soft and the soup was clear. Beef was tender and juicy, white carrot was cooked till soft as well.
Creative 8 - I topped up additional $18 for this drink. While eating my pho, i slowly allowed the coffee to drip into my coffee cup through the filter. The colour is dark chocolate and the aroma was thick. It has a strong after taste and was bitterly sweet.
