So just as I'm trying to write my reviews, these yogurt shops are already starting to close down! Wow, it's happening much faster than in the U.S. By around 2 - 3 years time, actually good shops, such as Red Mango, were started to close locations. In Hong Kong, the cycle has gone from 3 years to only 3 - 6 months. Well, I want to write something short since I did actually visit Yippee in Wanchai and bought a yogurt so I try it, and it is pretty obvious what happened here. The shop's staff were actually not friendly (this is a first for any yogurt shop I've visited), the froyo was absolutely watered down and gross (though not as bad as Tutti-Frutti, which is the worst I've had so far), the toppings were completely weird and too local (dried chinese stuff) and the shop was just laid out very strange, choice of colors was just plain wrong. There was some strange guy sitting on a laptop the whole time kind of staring at me. He was a local guy so I assume it was the owner. I guess he realized that froyo isn't that easy to do.
