In the end, before the fried rice is served the chef will ask if you want any special message to be presented. Afterwards the chef will write out the message using the ingredients on the hot iron plate(tepan) and you can take a photo of it with you standing in the chef’s place. You can ask for happy birthday or even a drawing of a pikachu.

We asked for some chinese words (新年快樂) and the chefs wrote it in reverse (so that the word is properly viewed from our direction) which is pretty impressive. We absolutely loved it.
