Had a Friday dinner there tonight. From all the good reviews, we went in with high expectations, but it was not up to the hype. The overall experience was good, good service, side dishes were nice, and the sashimi were fresh, but ultimately, everything was ruined by the rice. Had a Friday dinner there tonight. From all the good reviews, we went in with high expectations, but it was not up to the hype.

The overall experience was good, good service, side dishes were nice, and the sashimi were fresh, but ultimately, everything was ruined by the rice.

It was soggy, and not seasoned enough as sushi rice. The lack of vinegar allows the sweetness of the rice to remain in your mouth, which covers all the flavors of the sashimi, and it even overpowered the fresh hand made wasabi with soy sauce.

The restaurant allows for unlimited rice refill, so in the end of the meal, we felt like we ate $500 plain rice with some fish on the side.

If the restaurant improves on their rice, then I will highly recommend.
