To be honest, I was actually surprised to find a German cuisine restaurant in HK. It's definitely the right choice for those who are tired of Japanese, Korean and the generic western food and want to try new things. I tried the seafood pizza and the cheese fondue. They turned out okay -good enough for a meal, but I probably won't come back again. I'm very fond of cheese, but the taste of the cheese in the fondue is kind of bland. I guess it's because it's emmental cheese, which is known for its mild flavor. The plate of assorted sausages that comes with the fondue is also quite average -they don't taste too special, just like any sausage you get from a supermarket. There are also bread and vegetables for dipping, but just like the sausages, the taste of cheese is not very distinct when you dip them in. The pizza was also ok. I LOVEE pizza, and for this one, I really like the toppings, but I have to say I'm disappointed in the crust. It's soft and doughy, probably store-bought. The pizza would've been delicious if the restaurant made its own crust. In general I had a pretty decent meal and I was stuffed. This restaurant is still worth a shot -I only ordered 2 dishes, and I saw the tables around ordering different meats and sausages.
