Saw the half price Peking duck promotion while waiting for my  takeaway lunchbox (which was tiny in amount and so-so in taste, btw) so grabbed a table at short notice before the long weekend.  Duck was every bit worth it, meat succulent and the skin crispy and delicious, the pancakes also exceeded expectations with their own flavour and good texture.  Starter of salt-egg coated prawns was very good, though the sweet-and-sour yellow croaker was more catered to western taste.  Fried bean shoots we

Fried bean shoots were up to standard but the aubergine with tofu came in a sweet-and-sour sauce, again, that was not indicated in the menu and the only low point of the meal.
Other Info. : Very good service from our waitress, water topped up and wine glasses provided upon request. The order and speed of dishes being served was also exactly as we asked, that is a huge plus as my pet hate is for Chinese restaurants to rush all the dishes onto the table at once, without any regard for starter and mains and temperature-sensitive dishes got swamped by distractions. The hot water we asked for came to HKD100 in the end. Hot boiled water from the tap for a hundred dollars - seriously! I suppose half-price duck has to be recompensed somewhere else.
