After shopping for clothes, it was dinner time and my wife decided to have dinner at Amitie Kichen. It was located at Ashley Road, couple of minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.Their menu was very comprehensive, offering ala carte as well as dinner menu. As for their dinner set, it came with appetizer, soup, main course and drinks.As soon as we ordered our food, they served us complimentary bread. As soon as we ordered our food, they served us complimentary bread. The serving was huge, with crispy biscuits, bun and croissant. Biscuits was very crispy and bun was soft and fluffy. It goes well with the butter and apricot sauce provided.
Peach and orange soda - It was refreshing cool and gassy, sweet and slightly sour at the same time. Orange taste was strong as well.
Chestnut cream soup - The texture was thick and was very creamy. It has strong chestnut taste and there is parma ham chips in it as well. It was flavourful and chewy.
Deep fried oyster and lotus root salad with tofu raspberry dressing - Oyster was fried till very juicy and smooth, and the skin was crispy as well. It goes well with the dressing provided.
Portobello & pancetta burger with cheese - The serving was very huge, able to serve 2 person. Bun was toasted till soft and crispy. Mushroom was soft and juicy and bacon was fatty and chewy. Patty meat was very tender and juicy as well.
Japanese coconut ice cream - It was milky and creamy, with strong coconut taste. It was sweet and icy cold too.
