This afternoon my friend and I had lunch at a Shanghainese restaurant called Yi Jia at G/F of Lime.

Economical lunch sets of various choices were offered. Price ranged from $55 to $72. 10% service charge was required.

Each lunch set included an appetiser, daily soup, a bowl of steamed rice and a main course.

We chose deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce and simmered sliced fish with pickled vegetable broth.

Appetiser was refreshing. Soup with water melon was nice, too. Steamed rice was fragrant and of good texture. Deep fried sliced fish with sweet and sour sauce was nice. The simmered sliced fish with pickled vegetable broth was a good try for those who liked spicy food.

It was overall a good try.
