好呷台灣火鍋 (English name #HAP Taiwanese Hot Pot)  is a new Taiwanese hotpot from the same group that brought us the popular Japanese all you can eat shabu shabu, Mou Mou Club. Whenever we walk by for dinner, there s a long  queue of people waiting. So, we decided to come here for lunch where there was no wait at all!

At lunch, the prices are cheaper. They also offer a 60 minutes lunch deal where you don't get  all you can eat meat but you still get access to the buffet area. This menu is no placed at the front but you need to ask for it. We decided to choose the $98 set and added $14 for papaya and soymilk soup as our hotpot base.

Though the menu is in Chinese, they do have a QR code ordering system that has English and Chinese.

The buffet area is to the sides. It's here you can find drinks, hot food and more items for to hotpot. Everything is labelled in English and Chinese. I noticed it was refilled regularly.

The soup we chose was soymik and papaya. It was frothy. Fairly rich in flavour.

We went for the lowest grade to see how it was. The beef was ok. A bit on the fat side but at least good beef flavour.

The chicken wasn't too good. A bit too dry.

The pork was ok and was not too fat.

A variety of Taiwanese box and canned drinks were available along with cold brew tea and bubble milk. The bubble milk wasn't good at all. The boba was too hard. The cold brew was bitter.

Various fried snacks were available. Nothing really stood out but at least some items we've never seen before.

Mushrooms and plenty of balls were available for hot pot at the buffet area. The only bad thing was there wasn't a lot of vegetables to choose from.

They also had Chinese marinaded items that weren't too good. Just salty and very hard to chew on.

The quality of the food was very good with lots to choose from at the buffet area. The place was clean and things were constantly refilled. Would be back.
