I've been to this Elephant Grounds before. To be honest, this is the best branch I've visited in terms of vibe and food selection. Last time I was here, I got the fish sandwich and French Toast, they were bloody delicious and gave me haunting haunting dreams. Excuse the filter but below is a pic of said French toast. The vibe was great, perfect wooden panel walls on the outside for all the insta ladies. Much more chill than the one in Causeway Bay. I would recommend this place for a chill morning

The vibe was great, perfect wooden panel walls on the outside for all the insta ladies. Much more chill than the one in Causeway Bay. I would recommend this place for a chill morning date/gals catch up.
Also, the Giant coffee cup makes great photo props.
----Today tho:
That being said, this time I got to the place. Service was pretty awful.
First of all, no one was lining up, when I tried to move to a seat with an outlet (laptop dying). One of the waiters said 'The seat was reserved'.
Yeah right, at 3pm on a Friday afternoon?! But then some people may have taken days off, just like me.
The menu this time - I am not sure what you folks usually look for in a cafe, but I expect some basic acai bowl/museli? Maybe I am wrong, but the menu only has burgers/poke bowls/dons. Umm I think if I am looking for Poke, this would not be my first choice, or other people's.
Then I waited 40 minutes for a coffee and a tart. Spoiler alert, they did not arrive.
I asked them to be cancelled and be on my merry (Ha- not!) way. But then, one of the waiters offered to give me my coffee to-go for free, and it was given to me within 5 minutes.
Though now I feel like a basic ho who says the stuff they got from sponsors are good because they are free.
But dammit, that coffee is actually good. Conflicted about the services tho.
