不知不覺又到七月中,一年一度的香港書展開鑼了。首日趁人流不算多,鬆動一點的時間去走走逛逛,只可惜未有買到心頭好。然而,就在要失望而回的時候,友人傳來訊息。短短數分鐘的對答,定下了晚餐之約,感謝關照,點綴了平時獨自一人,無無聊聊的一晚。 晚餐正正就約在會展旁邊的Grand Hyatt,不過晚上人流漸多,要離開也不輕易。明明這麼近,卻是那麼遠,最後得花上約廿分鐘才到達。在這天的早上,絕對不會想到在機緣巧合之下會再次踏入Grand Hyatt。因為不到五天前,一位朋友才在Tiffin跟我補回生日餐,來了個別開生面的五層下午茶。 這晚來到Grand Café,自早前翻新關閉一段時間,終於在五月多重新開幕。整個設計風格完全改變,一開始會經過Bar的區域,其後才是餐廳主區。耳目一新的形象,讓人感覺更為舒適放鬆,並沒有一般酒店的那種莊重嚴肅的壓迫感。來到的時候友人早已入座,我們更幸運地得到一個既有景觀,而不失私密的角落位。 事不宜遲,馬上品嚐Grand Café的自家製煙燻出品,三文魚、肝醬……甚少會嚐到自家製煙三文魚,只聽過嚐過寥寥數家的出品。這兒的煙三文魚鹹香並重,魚油味不腥膩,鹹度適中,

因為海南雞飯的製作工序及規模是麻煩大工程,早前Grand Café翻新時亦未能移師去其他廚房。食客們要暫別如此滋味的海南雞飯多個月,單是想像也會有點想哭了吧?

Dinner Buffet沒有分Seating,即是一個由晚上六時至十時,連續四小時的美食馬拉松。各種各樣讓人垂涎的菜式實在沒有辦法一次過嚐盡,重點是絕大部份的出品均是水準之作。一頓下來,不太滿意的食物只有兩三款,舉一,例如是過份乾涸的燒三文魚。雖說友人認為款式還未算最多最震撼,但也沒辦法不一直大讚美味。在打這一篇文的同時,海南雞飯的鹹香不斷衝擊。一吃,不能割捨,所以我打了三千多字以表心意……
