Never really had Balinese food before (albeit been to Bali twice) and the experience at poem was a delightful one. The place is beautifully decorated with the bamboo lamp and forest bar catching my attention when I first stepped into the restaurant. My wife and I went on a weekend afternoon and they were only serving the brunch menu which comes with 5 appetizers, 5 main courses plus a dessert platter. The portion of each item is small yet adequate to ensure you will have the stomach space to go
My wife and I went on a weekend afternoon and they were only serving the brunch menu which comes with 5 appetizers, 5 main courses plus a dessert platter. The portion of each item is small yet adequate to ensure you will have the stomach space to go through all of the tasty dishes and the petit dessert platter perfectly wraps up the meal.
The only complain I have is the price tag ($398 plus service charge per head, without drink) which was a bit steep...
