Maybe it was the delicious dinner, we perhaps a pint too many beer after eating and we decided that it was time to went to Chungkee Dessert to have some dessert. Chung Kee Dessert is one of the many dessert chain stores in Hong Kong, serving the usual suspects of shaved ice, sliced fruits, ice creams and mountains of sugar. The Happy world
I ordered this one because I saw the dessert was really colorful and tasty. When I first saw the mouth-watering desserts from the menu, the dessert Happy World seemed that was consisted special refreshing soft sliding snow-white jelly, crystal soft pearl, on the line with a variety of quality fresh fruits. However, when the waiter served it to us, the appearance was not good as I saw in the menu and I felt a bit disappointed. When I tasted it, I didn’t think this dessert is special and the fruit were not that fresh. I preferred the fruit should be served cold enough. Finally, I want to ask a question: Did the dessert has anything any good? Compared to my usual haunt Honeymoon Dessert, I did think this dessert squared up to be rather… mediocre. The ice creams were so-so, the fruits were just that… fruits, and the rest are just ingredients compiled into a bowl of not so artfully arranged. Summer
A pretty looking creamy and fruity dessert that is made with a combination of Mango juice, fruit, chocolate bar and double scoops of ice-cream(mango beans + Vanilla).Summer was the dessert I ordered, it was served with various kinds of fruits and two scoops of ice-cream, you can pick any two flavors according to the list offered, for example, mango, cookies, Chocó, red bean and Sesame. When the dessert first came to my eyes, It was really attractive and I can’t wait to taste it. First of all, I tried the ice cream first, Mango Ice Cream was not that good that I expected. Sesame ice-cream tasted good, but it melted too quickly! Overall the ice cream tasted good, but it was too soft, I prefer to be icier. Fruits were surrounded the ice-cream, namely mango, watermelon and honeydew, but personally think they had exposed to the air for too long and were not fresh enough. There were many jelly-like little things around and two crispy chocolate sticks on the top, which helps increase the texture when eating the entire dessert.Golden Cristy Pastry
This was the last one dessert that all of us were willing to try. This was actually baked pastry topped with icing sugar and chocolate sauce. If you're just craving for anything sweet, this would be quite nice. The pastry was freshly baked, so we would have to wait for a bit longer time. Nevertheless, even if it's freshly baked, I think the aroma was still not strong enough, and this has reduced the hearty feeling and sensation of the dessert to me. The taste of it just liked tasting puff pastry on creamy soup .But the outer covering crisp mouth pine, the inside still maintained soft. It was quite good in this dessert. Finally, if everyone who love icing sugar and chocolate syrup, all of you can order it and you can expect was sweetness.Post
