Scarlett is a great place for hanging out with friends, be it having some tapas and drinks or just having a catch up dinner. It’s also fantastic for first (or romantic) dates! The Hokkaido Scallops were amazing! It’s a little towards the pricey side but it’s all good. The scallops were packed with flavour and the parsnip purée was a great addition. Usually people go for beef tartare, but I was recommended to try the tuna tartare. It was something that was new to me, but I think I might like this more than my beloved beef tartare! A light and refreshing appetiser to have before the main course(s), loved how they used wasabi and soy sauce for some unique flavours!

The duck leg confit was surprisingly delicious. It was definitely a bonus when the meat could easily be torn off the bone just by using a fork... and without much force too! Tender and juicy duck meat is the way to go.

The star of the night, this limited edition Dry-Aged Striploin was really something. With a soft and chewy interior and a slightly crispy exterior, the medium-rare beef was sooo beefy... look at that beautiful pinkish centre! There’s some tendons/sinew so if you don’t wanna work those jaws, you can opt for the Rib Eye instead. Don’t forget to slather some of the butter on the side - too addicting, I just want more!!!

Desserts? There’s always room for dessert! Favourite goes to the Ecuador Molten Lava Cake, and the crunchy caramel pearls were a great match with the dessert! Can’t help myself from indulging in such decadent sweets! The Scarlett Cookie almost made me feel guilty... there’s some chocolate inside the cookie as well so IT’S A YES FROM ME!
