We went to shiro for lunch, and it was definitely a pricey meal. The dishes were beautifully presented and we were intrigued by all the innovative nigri that was presented in the sushi conveyor belt. The sushi was of high quality, though sometimes their use of flavored jelly on top of the sushi didn't work as it was a bit thick. The scallop sushi was amazing so I would recommend that as the best dish from the sushi train. Our lunch set was a ramen one, with prawn tempura, seaweed, mackerel and some fried teriyaki chicken. I thought it would have been nicer for such an elegant restaurant to not serve a bunch of deep fried items in their bento but feature some fresher vegetables and just more wow worthy compenents to the ramen. The ramen had a creamy texture but definitely there are better ramen joints out there - so I wouldn't bother here. Overall, it was fun with the novelty sushi and the service was good, but nothing will intrigue me enough to come back.
