We think that this English Beef Pie was the best among other pies/quiche on their menu. We had tried smoked salmon spinach quiche which was too salty, chicken leek and mushroom pie, and beef bell pepper empanada, but this one really seemed to be the best which offered the best value for money!

There were loads of beef inside. It was served really hot. But the pie crust was a bit thicker than before and was less crispy this time.

The cheese croissant was ok only. The smell and taste of the cheese were not so strong.

Comparatively, this almond croissant was way way better. It was so crispy with so many more layers compared with the cheese croissant. There were loads of almond slices on it. Yummy!

We had tried a lot of their cakes before so picked this one to try. It was mostly a chocolate mousse cake with some nuts inside. It was not overly sweet. However, I had expected that it would be even more "chocolate" given its name. I think other cakes like 1963 Mandarin Cheesecake, Raspberry Chocolate Truffle and Opera were better.

The servers were very polite despite they were so busy serving a lot of people eating in and ordering take-outs. Have you ever imagined that somewhere at the Mandarin Oriental could offer food of such quality with such service at such a price?
