To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

The restaurant interior is decorated like a traditional japanese place, with individual tables as well as a table in front of the chefs. The restaurant was actually kind of hard to find but it's located on the left hand side of entering the driveway towards the hotel and not in the hotel itself. The restaurant interior is decorated like a traditional japanese place, with individual tables as well as a table in front of the chefs. Of course, I opted to be seated in front of the chefs to have the full on robatayaki experience as well as seeing what ingredients are available (vegetables and seafood are set out in front of you for your choosing). We ordered the grilled squid (which was amazing and crispy), grilled steak (melt in your mouth steak perfectly cooked as requested...we opted for medium rare), grilled enoki mushrooms (soft and tender cooked in butter/soysauce), grilled black cod (this is a must have item as the fish was served in a large chunk and seasoned perfectly), grilled scallops and grilled prawns. As each item is grilled individually, I would suggest for people to allocate around 2 hours for the dinner. Service was great, both from the wait staff and the chefs, and the ingredients were cooked perfectly and very fresh, but came at a price of $1000 a person, which I thought was a bit steep.
