It was my pleasure to be invited to the opening ceremony of LE-TA-SU, a restaurant from Tokyo specializing in solo shabu shabu dining. I also tried a few a-la-carte items, including Black Tiger Shrimp, Japanese Scallop, Hiroshima Oyster, Minced Squid w/ Mentaiko!
Both signature sets included fresh veggies such as watermelon radish, baby Indian lettuce and shiitake mushroom. My favorite was the Premium Sukiyaki Set with fatty wagyu slices which matched perfectly with the sweet and savory soup.
Their sets come in large portions, with also rice or udon - I doubt if one person could finish a whole set! Guests could customize the size of the meat and the soup base, starting from only $68 for a full set which is such a good bargain.
In celebration of their grand opening, from 15-31 July (weekdays only and not applicable on public holidays), guests may add $32 for 50g of Australian Purebred Wagyu Chuck Eye Roll, which is not to be missed!
Also received a special gift - peperomia puteolata in collaboration with @plantplanthk who has exclusively designed an instagrammable plant wall at LE-TA-SU. Plant Plant is a local company that promotes green life and offers one year of plant warranty on their products.
It’s getting more and more popular so come try it out as soon as you can!
