My friend wasn’t in the mood for a drink so she ordered a mocktail called Berry Black, as for myself, I desperately needed a Mimosa after a long day of work. The Berry Black was a delight surprise, it was a mixture of blackberry syrup, blueberries, lemon juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice, it was a nice blend. My Mimosa was not bad as well, it did helped lifted my mood a bit.

We ordered a full 3 course dinner for the both of us. To start off, we had Murgh Malai Tikka, a chicken dish, and also Malai Paneer Tikka, which means cottage cheese. We’ve really enjoyed both appetizers! They were both full of layers, made Indian food so much more interesting, the different distinct flavors goes well together. We must say the two appetizers were the best dishes of the night.

For main, we had butter chicken and lamb korma with naan, along with Veg Biryani, which is a veggie fried rice. We reckon it’s better to eat the lamb first, then the butter chicken, as the latter was stronger in taste. The naan was not oily at all, which was a surprise again. The Veg Biryani was quite nice too but we were too full at the end as the portion was quite generous.

We ended the night with Rasmalai Vanilla, it is a dessert with cottage cheese and vanilla ice cream. It was super interesting, I’ve never had this kind of dessert before. A happy ending to our Monday night.
