After wandering in Wan Chai for hours, my tummy was screaming for some nice Japanese food. Found Torihana Tei Ramen on Openrice and it was pretty close to my location, so why not trying something new?I saw there was Matcha Ramen on openrice but sadly it was no longer available, the staff kindly explained that it was limited edition. This ramen shop serves mainly Ramen with chicken soup base, pretty extraordinary right? It isn’t that common in Hong Kong, I knew I made the right choice to come here

I ordered a Premium Chicken Ramen. I loved the tenderness of the chicken slices so much that I wanted to order an extra portion of chicken haha. It was soaked with rich chicken soup, which was unbelievably delicious and not too thick or salty.
Customers are free to choose straight/ curly noodles according to their liking. I chose the straight one and it was smooth and chewy. The ramen as a whole was satisfying.
I also order a skewer, ‘meat ball’. It came with egg yolk and sauce in a tiny bowl. Stir the yolk and mix it well with the sauce, and there you go, dip the chicken skewer in it! I bet you could imagine the tastiness!
The whole meal was a great experience, with nice food and great service, I think more people should get to know this hidden gem (as it is located in a rather quite alley)!more people should get to know this hidden gem (as it is located in a rather quite alley)!
