Hidden gem in a nice quiet neighborhood located on Ormsby street, Tai Hang. Restaurants on the same street each specialize in different types of Japanese food. This small shop has became a personal favourite for my girlfriend and I, especially on a weekdays evening when we want to avoid the crowd in Causeway Bay. The shop fits approximately 20 people and that ensure the food is of high quality and the chefs take their time to prepare the food. The staff, Jojo already remembers our names and our favourite dishes. It is very refreshing to have friendly services and great smiles in Hong Kong. The sashimi is fresh as usual, the chefs said the toro typically get sold out everyday so we make sure we order that whenever we go. The uni was also surprisingly good. They are never stingy about the portion size ! Their skewers are charcoal-grilled and evenly cooked. Their latest addition - Sapporo beer on tap is a MUST try before you order a bottle of sake. We are very satisfied with this cozy spot with belly warming food and drinks.
