Hidden in a small and narrow alley near Lan Kwai Fong, Roji is a contemporary izakaya serving Japanese-French fusion cuisine in a buzzing ambience. Love that most of the dishes are lightly seasoned to pull out the natural fragrance and flavour of each ingredient. A4-Wagyu beef is a must-ordered – cooked to medium-rare in a refreshing shiso-ponzu sauce, the beef was juicy and very tender. Katsu Sando is one of their secret menu, consisting of a deep-fried fillet of mixed minced pork and beef, which was surprisingly quite different from the other sando-s I had previously in other places!
