Deep fried to a really crispy shell, the duck flavour was not very strong but the slightly sweet and nutty taste from taro was brought out really nicely.

Very juicy and tender char siu that some fatty meat still remain which I don’t mind at this point. One thick slice is simply not enough but I know more dishes are waiting for us.

🥂Steamed Fresh Flowery Crab with Aged ShaoXing Wine, Fragrant Chicken Oil & Flat Rice Noodles
Came with a really nice Shaoxing wine smell, the crab fully absorbed the essence of everything and was steamed just right with the right texture and bounciness. It’s very flavourful that you won’t mind drinking the sauce alone too. The flat noddles, on the other hand, wasn’t my cup of tea. It absorbed the sauce really well but it was too soft for my liking. I’d prefer vermicelli or E-fu noddles instead.

Stir Fried with fragrant garlic and black beans, the smell was already appetising. With the lamb ribs that’s super juicy and without a bad mutton smell, really enjoyed every bite of it.

🥂Desserts Trio
Including osmanthus, red dates and sesame in flavour, I loved the red dates most as the taste was really strong and stood out nicely. Sesame was the worst among three.

Everything was quite nice except the rice. Their serving speed could also be better than serving everything all over the table, especially when you need a lot of time to finish the crab. I actually still prefer ordering from a la carte menu than a set setting as we could control the portion more. But taste wise, it was still of high quality and I’d love to return and try out more dishes.
