Made reservations for a party of 8 a day ago. Seats were available. Food:First and foremost i must say that the quality of food offered at Gemini exceeds expectations. I have very, very low expectations for upstairs cafes. But Gemini will not disappoint. It has an extensive menu with lots of choices. A dinner set menu is offered as well. So you can order set dinner or a-la-carte. 1. Chicken nuggets (starter, set dinner - $84)They tasted very much like McDonalds chicken mcnuggets. Not surprised

1. Chicken nuggets (starter, set dinner - $84)
They tasted very much like McDonalds chicken mcnuggets. Not surprised if they really were. But they could easily have purchased frozen chicken nuggets at ParknShop and made some according to package instructions. Fair.
2. Salad (starter, set dinner)
Didn't try this dish, but it looked alright. Too much mayo with the corn though!
3. Cutlet cod on Risotto
I ordered this. Didn't fancy cutlet cod but S wanted it and we were sharing a set dinner. Turned out very, very delicious because it was served hot, right out from the frying pan. It was very crisp and very fresh. The cod was actually cod. Not some sort of sole fillet. You could tell by the color of the meat and the way it flaked when you pressed your fork on the cutlet. yummy, but extremely lethal if you're on diet. The risotto wasn't authentic. Not cheesy enough. And it was a tomato risotto - i don't like tomato. The grains could've been cooked for a longer time. But it was tasty nonetheless. Imagine yourself not having risotto.
4. Clams linguine I did not try this.
5. Vegan spaghetti It was quite tasty. I like vegan dishes. It was tossed in olive oil but it wasn't too oily itself! Dried herbs...yeah. with garlic too! Recommended.
6. Kiwi drink Freshly squeezed kiwi juice (allegedly). I think they put in a bit of apple too! Quite yummy. Not too sweet. My friend B asked in particular whether they added some syrup into the drink. They said yes. B wanted a natural drink. So they didn't put in syrup (I think).
7. Red tea with pear and honey Too sweet! but i crunched on the pear. mm yummy.
8. Mushrooms sauteed in garlic and butter delicious! a must-try!
Environment:
As you can see, very spacious for an upstairs cafe. I like how its floors and walls are white, decorated with colorful paintings. There is a room for painting i think. The seats are comfortable and the place is clean. I didn't see any boardgames. All the better. We did not need boardgames. Conversation is good.
Service:
Quite good. Polite and all smiles.
Conclusion
Definitely one of my top upstairs cafe picks. Hope they keep on improving themselves! Might come for dessert next time, and try their cakes.
