To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

I love visiting these restaurants that have been here for decades.There is something special about them.This Shanghai joint has been in Kwuntong for over 40 years!!Decor untouched, just how it was when they opened with lots of media clippings.They do have a Facebook and it has a cute cover with cartoon cats.Anyway, settled here for the lunch and had two mains with a soup and rice.The Kungpao chicken also had shrimp and ham with a lovely spicy kick.Next was the drunken chicken in strong wine.The

The chicken that we got was to my liking as there was a lot of white meat and there were not any bones.

Finished the hot and sour soup last because it was extremely spicy but loaded with tofu and black fungus.

To end the meal, they serve eight treasure tea which had to be the best I have had as it was slightly sweetened with a floral aromatic taste.
