My family and I reserved our table just a few days before Mother's Day. My mother's particular about where we eat, especially if it's with a cuisine that we are not so familiar with. We didn't know what to expect from Jashan's food and service, however the decor pictures and the reasonable price on the 'brunch buffet' was enough for us to give it a try.

We were very pleased with everything about this place. Although we are far from experts to say that it's 'authentic' or not, it doesn't matter. The staff are all too friendly to come to your table and describe the food to you should you feel any doubts. In addition to choosing your own food from the tables, there was 'live cooking' by one of the chefs, in which he had prepared 4-5 dishes for every table.

Every dish served to us was unique and not something you can find in a typical 'fast food style Indian restaurant'. This place will reawaken your interest in this cuisine.

Moreover, you are offered 1 free drink per person. There was no limit to what we could order, ie from alcohol to mango lassi. My favourite was the Masala tea, which was absolutely fragrant and not overly sweet or bitter.

Last for not least, I would definitely come here again for the location and decor alone. It's a great place for a family or small group gathering. Given that we ate on a Sunday and it was Mother's Day, we were surprised but very glad that there wasn't a lot of people and it wasn't unreasonable noisy.

I could be bias but there was absolutely nothing I disliked about this place. The staff demonstrate excellent hospitality and will have you leaving a smile on your face (a huge belly)!
