For those who don't know what Tam Jai is, it is basically a Hong Kong styled Xichuen spicy noodles. There are an array of soup to choose from. So this one (tam jai sam gor) is different than the other Tam Jai by.... the noodles and the soup. Sam Gor do serve glass noodles (potato noodles) and the other does not. Also, Sam Gor tends to serve other special soup - lark sa (not singaporean style tho HAHA), Tomato soup ETC. These are not served in TAM JAI. I do find the serving of SAM GOR larger too.

In terms of taste, I honestly don't find much difference.

Anyway, if you were here and do not understand a word of Chinese. Make sure you ask for an English menu. The most famous soup would be the xichuen spicy soup. You get to choose the level of spiciness - DO NOT CHOOSE THE LEVEL MILD!!! One may be surprised that there is still a spectrum of MILD SPICY in this restaurant. As starter, do choose 5 MILD spicy. Most people can tolerate that and try only 4 or even 3 MILD spicy if you are ready. (the smaller the number the spicier the noodle)

Other than noodles, the chicken wings are also rather famous. But of course, they are also spicy. Do order some cold drinks if you have a 'faint tongue' HAHAH
