I was planned to have dinner with my family for my sister's birthday. During a rainy day, I went in person to book a table one day ahead. I was planned to have dinner with my family for my sister's birthday. During a rainy day, I went in person to book a table one day ahead. At the time, the small restaurant with only 4 tables was full and the 4 eyed middle aged waiter took my reservations. I gave him my name contact and number of people and the time. He said he would confirm with me later for confirmation of the table. I was puzzled at the time so I asked him whether it is confirmed or not and then he was like, "ok ok." And I asked him specifically whether it was confirmed and "ok" was his reply. After all, there was only 4 tables in the joint... How hard could it be right? Well, that's what I assumed and the next day, I returned at the reserved time sharp. And the same four eyed waiter was there. But all the tables were full. So I wave to him and he comes out and I was like I had a reservation at 7:30. His response was "I didn't call to confirm you!" Annoyed, I asked him why my table was not reserved and his reply was, "I was too busy, and I didn't call you back to confirm the table" extra annoyed, I asked him again why he had not reserved the table nor called me back and he kept telling me gibberish about how he was busy and throws me the paper I had written him the previous day and looks at me with his four eyed huge eyes, "well did I call you to confirm! No, right". I'm sorry to say but it is a 4 table place. How busy could it be! There was no apology and gives me all this attitude. So I asked him who is the owner or the manager. And he says it is him. I literally laughed out loud in anger! I did not want to speak to the prick any longer and took my family to hyatt hotel instead. I was a truly pissed off experience. If he was really the owner of the restaurant I'd say good luck to him!
