We were wishing to go to the Spring Deer restaurant in TST which is famous for their duck however the restaurant was full and hence settled for the Peking Garden.

The duck here for HKD$408 was a good size, tender meat and nicely cooked, the lettuce leaf wrap of the balance of the meat was underwhelming, over cooked and oily.

The other dishes which consisted of grilled bbq beef, which was very fatty and oily to the point that all one could actually taste was the fat. The deep fried prawns were very very good although the batter was thick and overly floury in taste and texture, this was followed up with seafood friend rice which again lacked in any taste except for shiny oil.

The experience was topped with some of the worst attitudes and gruffness from the female staff that I have seen in a while. 90% of the staff served us with grim screwed up faces, it really is unpleasant to be eating food full of anger.

So all in all, good duck and everything else is rubbish, so dont bother wasting your time and money here if you wish to have an enjoyable evening.
