As winter is approaching, I started craving for hot pot. Learnt about this place from a friend who lives in the neighborhood, I’ve decided to come try it out myself.The restaurant is located on one of the famous food street in Yuen Long - Sai Ching Street. This is a all-you-can-eat type of hot pot place, you may pick from having pork and chicken or different types of beef as your main course. For the rest of the food, you may help yourself out from the long buffet table. There were even cooked veggie! What a healthy option.
I was so glad that they had Coke Zero from their fridge, so I feel less guilty for the amount of meat I was having for dinner.
For a minimum of two guest, they served us with a complimentary seafood platter with abalone, clams, oyster, shrimp and fish. I am a big seafood lover and I am so happy with this. The seafood are fresh and yummy.
So we picked the chicken & pork set. We especially like the pork, so we have been refilling the pork for the whole night. One tips: be patient with the frozen meat, let it warm a bit before trying to cook it.
My friend found it so fun to have both hotpot and grilling side-by-side. We tried cooking the meat in the hot pot then grill it to give a bit more taste to the food.
Lastly, can’t resist trying out their dessert although we were so full already.
