We were in the neighborhood and thought we would try this restaurant. Major disaster - having lived in Hong Kong for 16 years I don’t recall having a worse dim sum experience. We were in the neighborhood and thought we would try this restaurant. Major disaster - having lived in Hong Kong for 16 years I don’t recall having a worse dim sum experience. The food was mediocre at best but what’s prompting this review is the bad service. When we asked for napkins or paper tissues, the staff just flatly refused to provide any. Mind you that this is a hotel restaurant that comes w a tea charge per head plus an additional 10 percent service charge! When I persisted, they reluctantly brought 4 alcohol wipes for our table. When I got up to pay at the cashier at the end of the meal, the cashier showed me the bill, then input the wrong amount for the credit card charge. I pointed it out and she refunded me the difference in cash except that she kept giving me the wrong change. I cannot imagine why they places someone so incompetent in charge of the money. All in all a major disappointment
because hotel restaurants in hk generally offers a very decent dining experience.
