The Luxe Seafood Bar & Resto.The food scene is getting cray cray ! They are so many restaurants opening , keep on booming up , keep on drive me crazy .... Today , we tried something seems incompatible in Mong Kok . To be frank , I seldom go to Mong kok , maybe once a month maximum . And when you hear that we are going to introduce a place for real fine dining , it seems even odder , sounds wired right ?Yes . Right . Risotto in corn cream ,with chinese bacon and pan fried scallops
This is also one of the featured dish recommended by the press . However , I don't really that enjoy this dish . A shiny golden looking with glow is really tempting and favorable , somehow the texture is over soft and soggy ! This is more like porridge than risotto . The risotto is overdone with a thick and over -heavy sauce , very salty too . Risotto are more like Japanese rice , just slightly chewy but not al dente . They even edded chinese bacon (臘腸+ 菜脯) in it . The mouthfuls are even more salty and extremely filling . The scallops gain a victory with its gigantic size , add some marks to the dish with its springy texture and fresh hint .

Luxe is not overly crowded in peak hours , perhaps it 's the time to evaluate the overall performance and assess once again . It is always not late to make improvements , it is all about the sincerity and effort . Especially Luxe is grandly opened , yet still have plenty of time .
