At the Greater China Club, they now serve Italian dishes at Cadenza. We went there for dinner and here was what we had.Started with tartare which looks like your usual beef tartare but in fact, it is vegetarian made with tomatoes with a secret recipe sauce.I really liked it because I love tomatoes and the secret sauce tasted like Lea Perrins Worcester sauce which gives it that sweet, sour and spicy punch with a hint of dark colour that makes it look like beef.Next we had deep-fried cepes risotto

At the Greater China Club, they now serve Italian dishes at Cadenza.

We went there for dinner and here was what we had.

Started with tartare which looks like your usual beef tartare but in fact, it is vegetarian made with tomatoes with a secret recipe sauce.
I really liked it because I love tomatoes and the secret sauce tasted like Lea Perrins Worcester sauce which gives it that sweet, sour and spicy punch with a hint of dark colour that makes it look like beef.

Next we had deep-fried cepes risotto “Arancini” which were filled with beef cheek ragout black truffle sauce topped with foam.
Personally I liked it because the beef cheek has a lovely texture and it was like eating rich beefy riceballs.

Then we had fresh Oysters (Left to Right)
United States – American Pearl
France – Gillardeau
Australia – Sydney Rock
The oysters were fresh and my favourite was the Sydney rock which is the saltiest.

Next were the scallops with fresh almond, apple and black truffle dressing.
A great dish on a summers day.

For the mains, we had Maine Lobster risotto with deluxe lobster jus, Papardelle with tomato braised beef and Black Truffle Spaghetti.
The papardelle was my favourite and the Black Truffle Spaghetti was quite strong in flavour.

Finished with these flattering desserts which were beautifully presented.
The best one was the surprise egg which has a chocolate egg shell, mousse egg white and a runny yolk centre.

“Piña Colada” in our way

For drinks, I had the Pineapple Mojito which had a strong taste of fresh mint leaves.
The pineapple taste could have been stronger.
