📍Both Street Michelin Guide Restaurant I really hoped that I would like it. I even gave both Yuen Long and Basehall branches a try but I am still not a huge fan. There is nothing bad about it but it’s not that outstanding. The Taiwanese bun itself, the bun was over steamed and became mushy. The pork belly isn’t as juicy and flavorful as it should be to go with the bun. I do like the amount of cilantro included. The fried Mochi ball was good. Not too sweet but chewy enough. Prefer the sesame one

The fried Mochi ball was good. Not too sweet but chewy enough. Prefer the sesame one better.
Was quite disappointed in the 潤餅 as I went specifically for it. It is nothing like the one from Taiwan. They just used simple vanilla ice cream but not the traditional taro ice. The chopped peanuts was not the classic shaved peanut candy either. There was also this weird chocolate spread too which made it taste more like a crepe instead.
Last but not least is the famous pressed cake. The earl grey one…hmmm…it has a strong tea taste to a point that it’s a bit bitter?
It’s not bad but not that outstanding.
