Kitsushou, located in Tai Kok Tsui where lots of izakaya restaurants opened lately. We decided to go there for lunch because it seemed to be a more genuine izakaya instead of Hong Kong style ones.豚カツ Deep-fried Pork Loin $88They offered two options, $78 for Spanish pork and $88 for Japanese pork. I ordered the Japanese pork. Not the most juicy one I’ve had compared to Japan as it was well-done but the meat was very tender. The batter was not too thick which was good.ホッケの一夜干しGrilled Hokke $128Thi

This was the most juicy Hokke I’ve had in Hong Kong! Served hot. The size of the fish was bigger than average. The juice was flooding over the plate! So divine!
The Kirin draft beer did not taste fresh, pretty rusty and acidic. Probably the last few glasses of the keg. Service was good. Kitsuchou also had a selection of kushikatsu which I might try next time. Overall this restaurant had one of the best value for money Tonkatsu and grilled hokke in town.
