I was on Openrice looking for some good eats in Kennedy Town and stumbled upon this Indian restaurant. We got there at around 6 and it was absolutely empty. We were the first customers of the day. I got a Mango Lassi – Which was not bad – very creamy and quench relieving: 7/10 We also got some samosas which I found the crust to be slightly dry and hard instead of flakier and buttery. 6/10 The filling was mainly potatoes We chose a lamb curry for our main curry dish and it was not very spicy. We also got some samosas which I found the crust to be slightly dry and hard instead of flakier and buttery. 6/10 The filling was mainly potatoes We chose a lamb curry for our main curry dish and it was not very spicy. It was on the milder side with a slight hint of tomato. - 7/10 Also got the Prawn Biryani which was somewhat dry – but there were a good amount of prawns. The rice itself was okay not much flavour. 6.5/10 The Paratha was nicely charred but on the smaller side for the price. Overall: Okay – not bad but would not be coming back again.
