Restaurant: La Parole

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 數個前月,來了香港首間社會企業的餐廳La Parole吃飯,餐廳把所賺的錢全數撥款到營運註冊非牟利機構Benji庭恩兒童中心,為低收入家庭的語言障礙小朋友,提供專業言語治療。早前也參加了庭恩兒童中心舉行慈善步行活動,希望透過活動籌得更多善款,幫助更多有需要的小朋友。早幾天,獲邀請再來餐廳試試新餐單。用餐前,侍應先送上自家焗製的麵包,跟上次來吃的一樣,有合桃龍眼乾麵包及牛酒包,前者香甜可口,合桃跟龍眼乾的份量也很多,邊位帶脆,包身鬆軟,每口充滿果仁香,挺好吃。而牛油麵包包身更為軟綿,帶點牛油香,塗滿牛油來吃更好。先來法國生蠔Fine de Claire,生蠔十分新鮮,雖不算十分肥美,但也鮮甜。若大家在星期六下午前來吃的話,半打法國生蠔配白酒兩杯,價錢是$300。頭盤先是The scallops in savory of pumpkin and hazelnuts,帶子表面微微煎香,肉還鮮嫩,沾上南瓜打成的醬蓉,甜甜的,把帶子鮮味進一步提升,還有脆脆的榛子粒,令口感更為豐富。The pan fried fresh mushrooms with low temperature egg and

The pan fried fresh mushrooms with low temperature egg and small rocket salad,低溫慢煮的雞蛋,蛋黃已熟,蛋味不算香濃,亦沒有預期中流質的狀態,伴著的菇粒炒香後菌味濃郁就反而更好吃,加上火箭菜,先來點纖維作底。

The creamy chestnuts and pumpkin emulsion soup,橙黃色的南瓜湯質感濃稠,南瓜味道鮮甜,又帶著栗子香甜,忌廉份量不會太多,感覺甜而不膩,很好喝。

The lake trout fillet with "Grenobloise" Garnish,鮭鱒魚肉烹調火喉控制很好,魚肉還是挺實,不會又腍又散,而且還帶嫩口,味也挺鮮,愛吃魚的朋友要試試這個。

The chicken and truffle rolls ok a bed of braised carrot and cabbage strips,雞肉包捲著松露,味道不太明顯,雞肉鮮味也不太突出,但肉質尚算不錯,不會粗糙乾身,若味道加以調整會更好吃。

The Intense Chocolate Cube,聽到這甜品的名字時,也令人甚感興趣,到底這款朱古力甜品味道有多濃?四片朱古力包圍著朱古力忌廉,蛋糕下還有朱古力蛋糕,可可味道濃郁,不會甜溜,讓人吃得滿足。

The "Vol Au Vent" Cinnamon, Pineapple and Aged Rum,這個焗菠蘿批,外層酥皮也有脆,不算十分酥鬆,但牛油味也挺香。菠蘿蓉餡料帶著陣陣肉桂香,甜度較高。

最後再來一杯熱朱古力,用上Leonidas的朱古力來調製,玻璃杯內面有朱古力拉花圖案,朱古力味道較甜,質感也不算濃稠,但也是甜美的完結。
