I was getting my flu shot in Central, and godbro XO decided to meet up with me for a quick dinner before his tango session. We were attracted by Rare's projection on the ground as we were walking along Lyndhurst Terrace, so we checked out their menu and decided to stay for dinner.Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated in the bar area on the ground floor, and there was regular seating in the basement. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated in the bar area on the ground floor, and there was regular seating in the basement. The restaurant had a laid-back bistro vibe. RaRe has a pretty simple place setting, but all of their plates were embossed with their logo. After we placed our order, bread was served. The bread was more like Italian bread rather than a baguette since it had a softer texture. The bread had a light crispy crust and the inside was soft and had a slight acidic flavor. As it's Italian bread, of course, it came with oil and vinegar. Usually I won't comment on the oil and vinegar, but this balsamic vinegar was really good. It was a little sweet, and the acidity was not harsh at all!

Who would have thought a small bistro nestled on Lyndhurst Terrace would have incredible homemade pasta!
