finally the queue wasn’t that long this Saturday after lunch time (3pm)- I managed to try their croissants and scones for the first time. Croissants: very crispy and soft inside. The scones lacked a lot, I guess the French cannot perfect a good British scone. It wasn’t crumbly or soft and when I cut in the middle of the scones ... some parts of the scone was RAW it needs to be in the oven for 1-2 minutes more. The flavour was good but the texture was too dense and hard. The cause of this is because the butter was not handled well during the process of making the scones. They need to control the temperature of the butter better. I wouldn’t come here again at all for the scones. Let’s stick to pastry Bakehouse
